The 3rd annual Heads of Hope 5k Run/Walk is an event created by Tamarac alumn Katie Gross and supported by the Tamarac Booster Club to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association.

Katie has directly felt the impact of brain cancer through the loss of her mother to the illness. This event is to celebrate the people in our community who have been affected by brain cancer and to remember the ones we have lost. Proceeds from the Heads of Hope 5k Run/Walk will be donated to the American Brain Tumor Association, In 2024 and 2025, the inaugural Heads of Hope 5k Run/Walk raised and donated over $21,000 for the American Brain Tumor Association.
